Let's work this out. If we intend to keep the SH basically where it is, then let's pick it up and place it next door so we can remain friendly with our much larger neighbor by not restricting their access to fuel. If we intend to change areas entirely, then lets get some specific ideas in so we can make whatever decisions we need to and get movin'.

The best place I've seen is still Poco Maquez, and anywhere on that tiny little island is basically fine. If you've seen somewhere else that's good, point 'er out so we can talk about it.

Just had a wander round Poco Maquez and there are quite a few Strongholds clustered round there. There are a huge amount of fields and orchards to the West that no one has bothered infusing but there are also a lot of Factions around the town parts.

I have also had a quick nose around Harper Island and there are again quite a few Strongholds, however most seem Good aligned and none seem too large.

If we are going to be going for Poco Marquz then we will need to be doing some major infusing and also trying to push the other faction Strongholds off there and hold it ourselves.

Might be good for a laugh at least ;)

I am out of AP and off to work in 30 mins so if someone moves it make sure it is somewhere cool :D

Either of the islands sound fine. If we did go to harper then it's easy enough to ferry to poco. I'm good with either island.

I'm perfectly happy with Harper as well. As long as we set up somewhere near the ferry on either one of 'em we have excellent access to all sorts of resources.

Moving is probably good. Not wanting to dis our neighbours but they've infused OUR stronghold...

Hmmmmm! Looks like some monkey has wiped out the Stronghold and pinched out flag :(

We can set up pretty much anywhere now I think! After a 24 hour cool down :D

You can also raid the guys who took it, and take the flag back. Or get allies to do it, and that'll work, too.

Fatbladder respawned and I was able to pick up a badge on the way to Harper island. I'm now hiding in a slum after picking up a shotgun, first aid kit, lockpicks and a couple other items.

So, anyone got any preference to where the new HQ should be on Harper Island?

Not on my end, boss. The house you were in seemed likely enough to me, but I don't have any strong feelings about it.

... Provided it's reasonably near the ferry, that is. ;)

So I gather it is best not to make a stronghold in a vital resource square/block as others will want to get at it, but near is ok?

49,59 is fine seems quiet.

I'm inside that square now, didn't have enough ap to kill the guy there as i need to repair my guns. When i get some ap i'll run and repair them and clear 49,59.

If it helps i'll get infuse when Vil hits level 10, as he'll have 32 cp's to spend. Another option is to take structural engineering now and setup some barricades, hehe.

Most vital resource buildings are barred to SH use entirely, it's written in the code. Generally auto dealerships aren't vital to anything, but ours turned out to be a special case. That part of the map just happened to be extremely low on buildings that provide reliable fuel sources, and we plopped our SH down on the only available one for miles.

Unexpected, but if I'd researched the area better we could've avoided it. :P Particularly unfortunate, perhaps, that our only neighbor was a Good Folks faction who couldn't really act to move us. It would have been fair game if the only other competition was a bunch of demons, who we're supposed to be fighting with.

Gimme the permissions for a minute. I can make it right now if our 24 hour delay is up.
